Zariq Siddiqui serves as a senior manager of sales operation and strategy for Abbot Laboratories in Chicago, Illinois, and holds the responsibility of overseeing sales procedures for the pediatric nutrition product division. Outside of his professional obligations, Zariq Siddiqui supports charitable organizations such as Heifer International.

Heifer International works to end hunger by connecting low-income families with access to livestock that provide agricultural products such as eggs, milk, and honey, helping those in need earn a sustainable income and learn self-reliance.

The organization’s Fundraise for Heifer initiative enables individuals to create their own fundraising enterprises using three organization-hosted projects: birthday donations, memorial donations, and personalized campaigns.

Birthday and memorial donation options allow supporters to create an online fundraising page either in honor of an individual’s birthday or in commemoration of a lost loved one. Personalized campaigns give supporters the opportunity to create their own fundraising projects through a number of activities, ranging from baking a cake to kissing a llama. Each campaign also receives its own customizable webpage.
